Visitor planning: Lopatcong is primarily a residential and recreation community rather than a traditional hotel destination. Most overnight visitors use nearby Phillipsburg or Easton accommodations and drive into Lopatcong. Attraction schedules, hotel availability and event dates can change, so verify time-sensitive details before traveling.
2026 pool status: The Lopatcong municipal pool is currently closed. The township is moving forward with a major park redevelopment that includes a new swimming pool, lazy river, splash pad, bath house and four-season pavilion. Do not plan a 2026 visit around swimming at the township pool.

Major family attraction in Centre Square with more than 20 hands-on creative experiences. Current summer hours run daily, and the attraction recommends allowing roughly three to four hours for a visit.

Sigal Museum & Downtown History

Easton's historic core adds museums, colonial history, architecture, dining and local shopping to a Lopatcong weekend.

Riverfront & Centre Square

Easton's compact center is well suited to parking once and combining food, attractions and downtown walking.

2026 National Canal Museum closure: The National Canal Museum and its public canal-boat rides are closed for the remainder of the 2026 season because of access disruption from the Glendon Hill Road Bridge project. Do not build a 2026 itinerary around those attractions.
